Impact Color participated in the Elmhurst Park District’s 9th annual kick-off event at Wilder Park Formal Gardens on Saturday April 26th. The event was led by Megan McNamara and Ginger Wade of the Park District and was attended by Adopt-A-Park volunteer groups.
The Elmhurst Park District’s Adopt-A-Park Program is designed to encourage the community to work hands-on to help keep Elmhurst’s parks clean, safe, and attractive through debris pick-up and landscape suggestion. This program offers the opportunity for people to get more involved in their community in a way that promotes civic pride, appreciation and awareness.
After the meeting the Impact Color team went to their adopted park Marjorie Davis, for a morning of clean-up activities.
