Impact Color LLC recently participated in the announcement of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital achieving Magnet® recognition for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® – an accomplishment shared by only about 391 hospitals nationally of the nearly 6,000 registered hospitals in the United States.
Magnet recognition is the highest distinction a hospital can receive for outstanding nursing care. Hospitals that achieve Magnet status are noteworthy for their quality, excellence and innovation in nursing, showing improved overall patient outcomes, shorter lengths of patient stay, higher rates of patient satisfaction and greater cost-efficiency.
The Magnet® recognition announcement was presented to the hospital staff and Impact Color was asked to provide graphics for the event. “We were asked to print and install elevator clings and a grand format banner on the front of the hospital building,” according to John Schleich, President of Impact Color, “and all within a short time frame”. “These type of projects are what we specialize in and why our customers turn to us”, says John Schleich.
